ECOTROPIC OUTLINE OF A HISTORY AND A BOOK

Note: As the ropes of time have wound, each epoch has de-veloped,

specialized and utilized the methods described below. The situa-

tion has, of course, ineluctably worsened.

1: UROBORUS /Unconscious, original enaction. The essential rela-

tionships among the field of forces both organic and inorganic on

Earth--eg. life and death and symbiosis among species. Cosmogon-

ically the ecliptic.

CON NATURA

2: MATRIARCHY /identification of self as collective Matter/

Mater/Meter. Mensura (measure)/menses and mind. The uterus as

creative uroborus. Blood and milk of the woman. The great cross

of the sky in the communal circle.

CONTRA NATURA

3: SEPARATION FROM NATURE /rise of consciousness/ ego devel-

opment/ loss of the animal--exploitation of/by the self.

Masculine fear of engulfment. The Bull-fight as killing of the

animal within (the unconscious) our separation from nature,

repression of women, separation of the continuum of sky/Earth

into fragmented Earth. World as warehouse for private use.

4: REPRESSION OF WOMEN/exploitation and usurpation of the fem-

inine. Put her in a pumpkin shell. Genetic control. Repression

and control of sexuality and emotion

5: DEVELOPMENT OF CITIES /Private property/family structure/ ex-

ploitation of resources. Assault on Matter. Organized ecological

disturbance moving outward.

6: RELIGION AT BEHEST OF... /PATRIARCHY ETC The narrow cross of

ego acted out in alienated performance. Dionysus as hysteria,

wound as vagina (usurpation of the feminine), disembodied spirit.

7: GOVERNMENT AT BEHEST OF... Transference as validation. Identi-

fication with the oppressor. Repressed as police/defenders of...

8: EXPLOITATION THROUGH MUMMIA (THEFT) AND DIVISION /Labor /Color

/Wealth/Class/Peoples/Disease as weapon spilt blood as male men-

struation. Wound as portal to the other side.

9: EXPLOITATION THROUGH MUMMIA/War/energy control /exploitation

of the other. Saturn devours his children

10:EXPLOITATION THROUGH MAMMON /capital accumulation\ glorifi-

cation of the private crucifixion/the hero within /vision con-

trol/assault on meter/measure.

11:SCIENCE/technology/business/history/economics/agriculture/

politics/medicine/et.al./ At behest of... /spacial/temporal

fragmentation/directed pleasure/ instant gratification/virtual

reality/feelies. The brain as uterus (uroborus). The dream of

reason produces monsters. Maximum utilization of resources for

private gain. Clouding of the stars with light obscures the gods

and kills the numinous life.
