Thank you for your interest in the CNMAT Industrial Affiliates Program. We invite you to join our program -- you can help us pursue our research and education goals while enjoying the benefits of membership.
The main purpose of our Industrial Affiliates Program is to establish mutually beneficial relationships with individuals from industry who have an interest in providing general support for the research and development work done at CNMAT. We truly appreciate and value the help provided by our Industrial Affiliates; your financial and in-kind donations make what we do possible.
Some specific benefits of becoming a member in our program are:
Access to our staff and graduate students, including a look at current research projects. This is achieved through a password-protected section of our website (restricted to Industrial Affiliates only), our annual Industrial Affiliates Conference, and other special events and meetings.
Advance notice of emerging technologies and papers prior to publication, allowing a sneak preview of our innovative work.
Technical assistance via e-mail communications with our staff.
Invitations to our concerts and presentations.
Our members may qualify for federal and state research tax credits for their contribution.
Valuable information from our extensive references and resources on topics of interest to our members can be made available.
In addition, becoming an Industrial Affiliate qualifies a business for consideration as a collaborative partner at deeper levels of interaction with CNMAT. Some of these closer working relationships include sponsored projects, technology transfers, and licensing arrangements. We would be happy to meet with you to discuss the possibility of more extensive collaboration after you have become a member.
Your organization can become a member in the CNMAT Industrial Affiliate Program for an annual contribution of $10,000. Funds received from annual memberships are used to support research, graduate students, equipment, and member events.
