RESUME

EDUCATION

1997 Masters of Computer Science, University for Applied Science, Berlin, Germany.Thesis ''A Real-Time 3D Visualizaion Toolkit for Sound and other Signals'', from Center for New Music and Audio Technologies (CNMAT), UC Berkeley, 1997. Built a flexible Open Inventor (a high level 3D graphics library) extension for rendering spectral audio data to 3D graphics synchronized to audio playback.

1997 Several classes on audio perception and audio signal processing at the Institute for Communication Science, Technical University, Berlin, Germany.

EXPERIENCE

1998 Design and realization (5 month) of an Open Inventor based 3D-editor and runtime simulator for the companie's real room multimedia environment and it's integration in an existing authoring system. Platform: C++/MFC/Windows NT. Company: twosuns multimedia developement gmbh, Berlin, Germany (http://www.twosuns.com).

1997/98 Realization of an CD-ROM with Macroedia's Authorware for Medialine Gmbh, Berlin, Germany.

1996/97 Worked at c.o.r.e. digital pictures GmbH, Berlin, a leading international special effect and animation house, 1996/97. Developed software for recording on video harddisc recorder (Accom) and archiving shots. Built a converter for camera control parameters from Side Effects' PRISMS to Alias Power Animator.

1995/96 Worked as a system administrator at the computer center of the University for Applied Science, Berlin, Germany. Administrated a pool of 45 SGI Workstations, wrote explainatory documentation of the software. Administrated three Wavefront EXPLORE workstations including video equipment. Wrote two introduction guides to UNIX and multimedial usage of SGI workstations, published by the university.

1995 Developed an Open Inventor based proportional modeler as part of a software engineering project for the German National Research Center for Information Technology(GMD).

1995 Programmed C-Sound audio-modules on SGI workstations, researched on visualizing audio (with MATLAB) as an intern at the Institute for Comminication Science, Technical University, Berlin, Germany.

1992 Internship at HEADacoustics, head-related technologies, 1992. Programming of DSP algorithms and synchronized comunication with a digital multitrack recorder.

I have wide and practical experience in working with the following systems:
