Object classes to transform, constrain or animate fields depending on other fields.
Engines have input and output fields of fixed types that are connected to other fields of the scene graph. When executed, the input fields are read, transformed and written to the output fields. Engines are not nodes, but part of the scene graph by their field connections to nodes (or other engines or global fields).
